I don't like that word. Follower. I was tempted to joke and make 'followers' say something like 'my humble servants' but I didn't think anyone would appreciate that. For lack of something better I settled on 'people who like me'.

I have a friend with a blog she introduced me to and I thought, Why not? Just one more place to practice my writing skills. It feels more like a journal at the moment and so far I just talk to my inner self, but if more people press the little follow button I may end up blushing with a giddy grin. Either that or it will all go to my head and you'll have an ego monster on your hands. It's a toss up.

I couldn't have said that better, and it is exactly what I would like to have said as well -every word - so thank you DaraSerian, continue your regular musings (is that the word?!?) oh dear ... anyway I will keep peeking at your journal so do keep it up - I'm still grinning at the 'toss up' :)
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome. I amused myself with the 'toss up' as well. Sometimes I have no idea where the words come from. They just sort of spill out and I wonder what people would think if I talked like that in person. It's a very 'written' sort of voice. Oh wait! I forgot, it's my inner voice. I guess in person she has to zip it, so when she gets the chance she enjoys showing me up.
